Our Annual Gas or Electric Powered Furnace Maintenance program includes thorough visual inspection and diagnostics of furnace system to insure system is operating safely and efficiently and includes:

• A thorough inspection of the heat exchanger for cracks, holes, and leaks which can release carbon monixide into the air
• Examination of the flame for a proper mixture of air and gas
• Testing the safety and limit switches
• An examination of duct conditions
• Examination of air filter for proper air flow
• Testing of the thermostat to make sure that the unit is running efficiently
• A thorough cleaning of the system burners to remove any of the rust that often falls from the heat exchanger
• Oiling of fan motor if needed
• Testing for air leaks around furnace
• Inspection of vent piping

H.E.R.O. Heating Precision Tune-Ups are a great way to get your heating and cooling systems in top condition for the coming season. If your system is less than 10 years old, chances are a Tune-Up is all you need to keep it operating in top condition.

Warranty's

What is the warranty on my unit?

The manufacturer’s warranty begins on the date of installation and lasts varying lengths of time depending on the type of unit installed. The warranty term can be found on the back cover of the installation manual for your unit. You can check with us if you no longer have your installation manual. You will need to have the model and serial number of your unit, which can be found on the unit’s dataplate.

What is covered by the manufacturer’s warranty?

The manufacturer’s warranty covers most mechanical parts. It does not include labor, refrigerant, shipping charges or a replacement unit. You may have an extended warranty that was purchased through a third-party insurer. Please check with us for information on any extended warranties.

How do I receive a warranty part?

All warranty parts are made available through independent wholesale distributors. H.E.R.O. Heating must fill out a warranty claim form, and then receive the part from the distributor.
